So, I guess this page should tell you a wee bit about me, eh? I’m rubbish at these things, I truly am. Why the hell would anyone be interested in a twenty-something midget IT worker and part-time football reporter from Aberdeen?
No, I don’t know, and neither does my girlfriend. Thats probably more to do with the fact I don’t have one than anything else, though.
So, what to write about myself?
For starters, Nev is a nickname foisted upon me by footballery types many moons ago. The origins I am unsure of, but it’s stuck and now pretty much everyone calls me Nev. And beyond that?
Well, I’m a bloke in my twenties who works in IT and lives in the City of Aberdeen. I’ve never lived in Peterhead or anywhere near it, but many, many people think I do or have. I do, however, support, and report on, Peterhead FC for a number of publications, including the Sunday Mail, the Buchan Observer and the club’s website.
I like my music served loud and bassy, and regularly fail to attend gigs I want to go to, because I’m bloody useless. I also like Motorsport and own an old-school Mini, although I can’t drive…
I own a share in Brewdog, and an unopened bottle of Tactical Nuclear Penguin. This makes me ace.
